I have just had a long run of very expensive 2M high close board capped fencing installed at huge cost - but high quality and worth every penny. However, neighbours on the other side of my fencing think they are doing the local "murmur" of Starlings (yes! a flock or flight of Starlings is called a MURMUR!) a real favour by hanging out blocks of fat for them. Well, the noisy dirty Starlings come to eat the fat blocks and they come twice a day in their hoardes; they sit on my fence and defecate all over my fence and also over the lovely flowering shrubs and roses beneath - making an appalling and disgusting mess - a real health hazard. But now, oh joy! the Tauben bird spikes have stopped all that - no bird will sit on them! This is a great result and I am delighted.

The spikes and their bases are well-made and sturdy, and the bases can can be bent into a half circle for round top posts and easily broken apart for smaller sections. I must order more to completely cover the entire capping rail of the entire fence. The actual spikes I think (hope!) are stainless steel.

The spikes are very good value and are despatched and delivered promptly. There is also good, prompt, courteous and helpful customer service when Taubenspike are emailed via Amazon.

I have replaced the plastic glue strip spikes with the above five rows item. The above item looks dramatic but actually has blunt ends to the steel. I wish I had known of this item before, a lot cheaper than security spikes, they can be screwed in any position. I did not buy glue, or plugs. I bought a bag of small screws from the local DIY store. Easy to install. There are plenty of holes for screws on each clear strip enough to secure to the tressil on my fences. My large back garden, completed within 45 mins, with electric drill. no mess and no injuries, to my teenage son. The spikes are a definite prevention to nuisance cats, squirrels and especially neighbourhood pigeon fanciers flights of birds. I am very pleased with the look and outcome, not too dramatic a neat look of rows, at a reasonable cost buying in bulk, and hopefully acts as security to stop intruders climbing over. The front of my fence I ordered the two rows of spikes, sufficient for the front fence, a neat look of rows. No problems fitted over a few months and I am getting a lot of interest from locals and passers~by. I cannot praise this item enough. Four stars, I would have preferred to have had a couple of extra spikes, as I did not add the garden posts in the measurements, leaving me with a few gaps in the rows. Exact to detail by seller. The spikes can be added to the top of posts or any other small areas where you would like to have covered. I recommend this seller from items being despatched to delivery.

Excellent, just what I needed to keep pesky bird hunting cats out of my garden. I only put it where they commonly jump over my fence 7 i have not seen a cat try since it went up. Going to buy a second lot to do any remaining gaps that they might start using. Would obviously recommend.
