Yes. Any 2.5" SATA drive will.

It will be formatted to NTFS, you need to change this to HFS+ (Journalled, Extended). You do this using Disk Utility.
1. Install new Hard Drive
2. Insert Mac OS X system disc in the dvd drive
3. From the Utilities menu choose Disk Utility
4. Partition the drive as required (default is one single partition)
5. Format as an HFS+ 'HFS Extended (Journalled)'
6. Install system software or restore from backup
