"The hardest thing about being an 'Indie author' is letting the world know your book exists...'
"The best thing is convincing the world one person at a time this your dream!"
Lee Hall is a UK based indie author and playwright. Three of his novels share the same occult universe; that being Open Evening, Darke Blood and Cemetery House. He has also dabbled into the ever trending world of super heroes with The Teleporter, a stand alone comedy novella.
2019 saw the debut of his first full length stage play, a pantomime adaptation of fairy tale 'Beauty and the Beast' for the Iver Heath Drama Club to which over 600 people attended. This new brand of 'super-pantomime' combines traditional/modern comedy whilst focusing on the character driven elements of an ensemble story in which he hopes to sell on to other drama societies in the near future.
He is a fan of immersive television, shows such as Stranger Things, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Breaking Bad and The Walking dead, all of which influence his writing.
The first real book he read was the Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle and inspired his dream to create worlds and immerse others in them. Michael Crichton and Stephen King frequently appear on his bookshelf and have shaped his work towards the genres of science fiction, horror and thriller.
By day Lee works as a technician for science and by night you can catch him penning one of the many books or plays he has planned.
