Sharon Kimbra Walsh was born in Essex, England in 1959. Her school and teenage years were uneventful as she sailed through life getting into trouble and battling the rules of her parents. At the age of 14 she advised her stunned mother and father that she wanted to join the military. Dragging said parents along to the Recruiting Office, she was a very put out when she was told that she was too young and to come back when she was older. At the age of 18, she took the oath and was sworn into the Women’s Royal Air Force where she served from 1978 until 1986 proving skeptics wrong that her rebellious streak would result in a dishonourable discharge. On her honourable discharge, she chose a career in the legal world, met and married her husband Peter and moved, lock stock and barrel to Scotland, where she now lives alongside an adorable West Highland Terrier called Misha. Sharon wrote her debut novel – For the Love of a Marine – in 2015 followed by its sequel – A Fallen Hero – in 2016. Ambush of Love was also published in 2016. She loves writing no holds barred, straight from the hip contemporary military romance where love battles with duty and danger in combat and where its not just a fight to live but a fight for happiness.
If you want a romance that can sweep you away to danger and adversity and where love brings a little warmth to war-weary lovers, join Sharon in her world of military romance.
