Stuart Duncan was born in London of a Scottish father and an English mother, brought up in Wales and for the last thirty plus years happily married to an Irish wife. After obtaining a law degree at King's College, London Stuart qualified as a solicitor and joined a law firm in Central London where he remained, after various mergers, for the next 38 years. When Stuart was in his late fifties he became a Chairman of the Employment Tribunals (later called an Employment Judge) and working part time he continued in this role for the next 14 years finally retiring when over 72. Stuart plays golf (rather badly) and enjoys playing bridge and doing crosswords and su doku. Having written some memoirs Stuart is now working on some children's short stories.
