I think I am a contradiction in so many ways I confuse myself sometimes. I love writing stories which involve corporal punishment, spanking and domestic discipline but in reality would never hurt anyone. I am the product of dysfunctional parents and by anyone's standards had an unenviable childhood. This had twin effects on me; the first is I became, and still am, very self-reliant but also I frequently retreated into my own private world...a world of make believe.
My make-believe world was peopled by the well-meaning and kindly and always there was a happy ending. My stories are pretty much the same. My disciplinarians are essentially good people. My stories end well even if there are tears, danger and drama along the way. I find it very hard to write to a formula so if you read my stories they won't necessarily take a familiar path, but hopefully you will enjoy them. I also get very involved with my characters so when I finish a story I feel a huge sense of loss that only goes as I get into another. I love it when readers tell me they too feel that sense of loss when finishing one of my stories.
I have rules for my writing. Oh I don't write them down they are just buried away in my character and to break them requires effort. I rarely use swear words and then only to make it clear that a character is undesirable and even dangerous. I am not in the least bit shy of writing sex scenes but I hate some of the crude language that you sometimes see. The first time I wrote a sex scene I set myself a challenge of not using any coarse or crude language or any swear words. I have been told my sex scenes are highly erotic. You must judge for yourself.
I always reply to anyone that writes to me unless of course they are abusive. If you want to write and ask me something about my stories feel free. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wait I sense some of you are confused. You've seen some of my stories are set in the US and even use American spelling and expressions. Well I am English and have not lived anywhere else though I have visited many countries including the USA. I love American literature and much of the food and customs. It just seemed natural to set stories there.
