Anita Belli is an author of 20th Century Historical Women’s Fiction and Contemporary Romance.

Once Upon a Blue Moon 2018, is her first Contemporary Romance. When Hollie’s old flame Rory turns up in the café where she works, she struggles to admit the secret she has held onto for many years. It is a feelgood story of second chance love.

The Traveller and the Rose is an epic story of love, war and the search for the truth, set during the Spanish Civil War. Published by Endeavour Press in 2017.

Her first published novel is also 20th Century Historical Fiction: The Art Forger’s Daughter, 2014, tells the story of a young woman who seeks to find the truth about her father’s life and death in the Nazi Occupation of Holland in 1940.

Although different genres, these books share a common thread: Anita is interested in exploring how the past ripples across the years to impact on the lives of the women who come later; exploring our own search for the truth in our deeper selves, and the power of love to heal the past.

Look out for the first book in a brand new series, coming 2019: Ruby Sixpence - Living Out Loud; a Contemporary Romance with a hint of magic. Ruby expresses these themes in a voice which is humorous, contemporary and yet carries women’s wisdom of the ages.
