Simon Townley is a reformed journalist, recovering copywriter and penitent English Literature graduate – but remains an incurable lover of ideas, language, myths and stories in all their wonderful forms and subtleties.
Despite working as a crime reporter in a previous life, he is, he insists, nothing like the protagonist of his ‘Capgras’ books, although they do share a love of beer, whisky and loose women, and a deep distrust of authority figures. There the similarities end.
Simon is the author of more than a dozen novels across a range of genres and for all ages. He lives in Devon, England, in a house ruled by cats, wrecked by dogs and known locally as the barking-mad Airedale Terrier insane asylum. Discover more at simontownley.com.
