I have been writing poetry from an early age. I have had several poems published in different anthologies and have been involved in various writer's groups over the years, as a member and also helping to set these up. I published a small poetry booklet, The Land of Green Ginger with United Press and a bigger selection of my poems in Crushed Green Ice, a collection of poems from 5 to 55.
Influences on my work are: my life experiences, travels and practice as an SGI Buddhist, both in the UK and Tokyo, Japan, where I also lived for a time. I also work as an English tutor.
I have just produced a Kindle Book; How the Frog became a True King - a Fairy Tale for Adults. I added a beautifully illustrated version in July 2018. The illustrations by JP Hiwatig have really captured the essence of my story. Other works include a manual for online tutors and I have recently completed a history of the family tool business, started by my great-grandfather: The History of T S Kaye & Sons, Tool Merchants, Hull.
A couple of novels and more poetry are in progress - I hope to finish these in the future.
