Sally Middleton - Born in the 1950'near Manchester UK.
I have made up stories since I was very young and later (to the despair of my English teachers), wrote very badly spelled stories and poetry, due to undiagnosed dyslexia. With great difficulty, I managed to obtain enough qualifications to get to Teacher Training College and qualified as an infant teacher, with a passion for teaching children to read.
Later I married and had two children. My eldest devoured all the suitable books she could get her hands on and with a new fangled thing called a 'computer' to play with, the writing bug hit again. Whilst my youngest child slept and my eldest was at school, I started writing once more.
Then my life took a new direction and my stories lay forgotten in a storage box for many years.
With the advent of Kindle publishing I was encouraged by my children to take them out and revist them. So here we are just a 'few' years after their inception, with the original stories forming an outline for these much longer grown up novels.
There is a distinct supernatural / magic slant to most of my stories.
'The Haunting of Black Sands' was followed by 'A Demon in Waiting' and 'The Cry of the Peacock'. The fourth book 'The House on Teapot Hill' is the first part of 'Blue Magic' Trilogy. Part two is 'The Marked Man' and the third and final part is 'The Stained Window'.
I am writing a new series at present and the first part of 'A Remarkable Adventure' is 'Setting sail' The second part is 'Escape' The third part 'Trapped' is to follow shortly and the fourth part 'Hope' is in the process of being written but it's a slow process, with all the historical facts to be checked and information to be gathered. There will be either 5 or 6 books in all, depending on where my story goes...
