Tasmin Jahan was born in Kent, United Kingdom to Bangladeshi parents originating from main Sylhet. Having spent some of her childhood in Bangladesh during the 80s, her desire to create dialogue and drama came to light when she was just nine years old. Although she is fluent in English, she wrote her first dialogue in Bengali. All her plays are in English. She has written in many genres. Her first play is called 'A Stinging Affair' -common marital tragedy. 'The Root of all Evil'-a murder mystery. 'Stinging Filth and Bloody Hands'-psychological thriller. Her first comedy series is called 'It's All About John and Marion' and consists of five parts. The comedy series was inspired by her parents. Don't miss out on the latest release!
