This is my first kindle and so far it is amazing. I never thought I’d go for one as I’m an avid book lover, but after being convinced I wouldn’t regret it, I went for this one. I must say, nothing will ever compare to an actual book but this little device has kept me reading for hours on end. It’s super portable and so easy to read on the train or whenever you have a few minutes to spare. I love the raised edges, not a fan of the flush display of the paperwhite mainly as I know I’d keep skipping pages by mistake. I don’t mind the lack of waterproof feature and the warm light would be useless for me, it’s so easy to read even in very dark rooms with the dark mode on. If you read mostly at home, I imagine the size of the paperwhite will be more pleasurable but for the portability this one wins it for me. And the smaller size doesn’t affect the reading experience anyway in my opinion. I charged it first time about a week ago and it’s still at 84%, so battery life seems good for now. Very happy with it and I admit I read even more often now.
