    I have being trying to get a 4 pole 3.5mm socket to 2.5mm plug for several weeks to use in my Nokia 6500 slide. The reason it has to be four pole is that I have a Nokia headset with remote control facilities to answers calls and skip music tracks etc. It is actually quite difficult to buy the Nokia AD-52 adapter on its own as they supply it with their headsets for mobiles that have 2.5mm sockets. This does the job perfectly.
