My son used this on his Duke of Edinburgh expedition and he loved it. It comes with two reinforced holes at one end so that you could attach it within your rucsac, but there's no need to do this as the pressure from items within the rucsac is enough to keep the water flowing smoothly on demand.

This is the largest, 3 litre version, which is good for longer journeys and also means you don't need to fill it completely if you don't have a long trek. The tube screws securely into the fitting on the bag and can be detached for cleaning when necessary. The mouthpiece has a soft rubber cap which fits snugly and keeps the end clean. The only slight negative is that the filler cap is not at the end of the bag, which makes drying the bag out a little more lengthy. Not enough of a problem to drop a star though.

so simple really, stick 3 litres of water in it, put it in your back back, then just suck the water through the tube, all supplied without having to take of your back pack, and open it and get out a water bottle all the time, works perfectly, and water does not leak out the tube even if lower that the water bottle, unless u suck it out.

I bought this as I wanted something for long walks/hikes up mountains. it fitted in the bag I had OK, and the tube fed straight through all the straps etc. The length of the tube was fine, and I like the fact that the end of the tube is covered. I did find it a little fiddly to take of the cap at times though (hence 4 stars rather than five).

I went on a tropical expedition to Costa Rica and was told I needed to drink at least 3L of water a day so this seemed ideal and much cheaper than some of the more well known brands. It lasted well for the first week of constant use, however during the 2nd week of the expedition is split somewhere along the bottom and I could no longer use it as there was no tape available:(

I have to give bad review as this bag is not good for biking. It leaks when it is filled more than 1l if you bend forward (like in biking). For run, hiking or other sports you stay upright, this is value for money, but not cycling. :((

Ordered with Amazon prime and it didn't come the next day so unfortunately it is no use to me at the moment. Looks okay but definitely a low quality product, however it was cheap- you get what you pay for!

Worked well for my son's D of E exhibition but it did not come with any instructions on how to clean it. The tube in particular is impossible to clean or dry without cutting the end off as far as I can tell. Bit expensive for a single use item.

I bought the water bag for a week hiking in the mountains and practically from the beginning the refill valve was leaking because no appropriate insulation ring is included. Using the reinforced holes at the top for hanging it these ripped. Do not buy this product. It was a great disappointment.
