    My first ultra wide monitor was a electriQ 34 inch 3440x1440 it was 60hz and was using one of the first generations of free sync, although I loved the monitor it was very basic and bare bones, it was using a Samsung panel and had very generic user interface and a 1000r curve no HDR for £300That was 2018 so to see what £310 gets you in 2024 now just shows you how much tech has advanced and how feature packed monitors are for the money.Pros.Like the eletriQ monitor this is a VA panel but a much brighter and more vivid picture. Colours pop and even with turning HDR off it produces a very pleasing experienceWith a 165hz for gaming I have really enjoyed playing games on the screen. Like 4k you will need a powerful graphics card to play games like cyberpunk at high or ultra to reach 165fps even at high on a 7900xt I average 120fps I know right first world problems lol.MMOs are fantastic at this resolution and really gives you a great experience.Productivity is amazing on ultrawide monitors. Weather it's using two or free programs on one screen or having the entire screen for photo and video editing. It really gives you so much real estate to work in.Cons.Like most monitors the speakers are below average and purchasing some £10 pc speakers or some decent headphones will give you a much better experienceThe other con is more towards all ultrawide monitors is.       This is a fantastic monitor, the screen size is brilliant. It's very bright, but I turned it down to 20% brightness and it's perfect for me. The quality and colours are fantastic. My games run smoothly on it without any issues. The design quality is brilliant. I used this for mainly racing games and the curved effect really brings you into the game. The screen is great for multi tasking, I can have two things opened side by side as if I have two screens and it's just so much better than having two monitors.

      The box came slightly worn like it said it would but I got everything I needed. I got a video cable, power cable and a HDMI cable. There was another cable but I forgot what it was at the time of writing this. Everything was brand new and untouched.

      If your considering getting this screen just do it, you won't be disappointed.

      This is a really good monitor for the price tag, solid all around , although not stellar in any particular area. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone if they are a pc gamer. However, for console users be aware the hdmi port isn't 2.1, and only supports 100hz, keep that in mind when purchasing. You can purchase a DP to HDMI adapter, however those can be expensive and not always very viable.

      That was 2018 so to see what £310 gets you in 2024 now just shows you how much tech has advanced and how feature packed monitors are for the money.

      Pros.

      Like the eletriQ monitor this is a VA panel but a much brighter and more vivid picture. Colours pop and even with turning HDR off it produces a very pleasing experience

      With a 165hz for gaming I have really enjoyed playing games on the screen. Like 4k you will need a powerful graphics card to play games like cyberpunk at high or ultra to reach 165fps even at high on a 7900xt I average 120fps I know right first world problems lol.

      MMOs are fantastic at this resolution and really gives you a great experience.

      Productivity is amazing on ultrawide monitors. Weather it's using two or free programs on one screen or having the entire screen for photo and video editing. It really gives you so much real estate to work in.

      Cons.

      Like most monitors the speakers are below average and purchasing some £10 pc speakers or some decent headphones will give you a much better experience

      The other con is more towards all ultrawide monitors is. The fact that not all games support the resolution or consoles don't support 21.9 resolution so some games on pc and all games on consoles will give you black borders on each side of the screen but I'm only putting that here as I think people looking into their first ultra wide monitor need to know

      The monitor was far superior to my last smaller iiyama monitor. I like to play fps games and for that, it is ideal. Got no complaints about the screen, however the rear usb ports do not work. You may say this doesn't affect the screen, but if they are part of the monitor they should work. I have sent a message to the manufacturer about this but as yet have had no repsonse. It would have been nice to plug my keyboard and mouse into thos ports.

      Ich bin mit dem Monitor sehr zufrieden. Vorher WQHD, jetzt auf UWQHD, sieht alles ein bisschen schärfer aus.

      Wichtig für mich waren auch die zwei (Displayportanschlusse) wegen 165 Hz.

      Das HDMI gibt nur 100 Hz raus. Diese brauche ich nicht.

      Ist mit einen (RX 6950 xt) verbunden, und einen (RX 6800 zweite pc) verbunden.

      Also alles in allem: Top-Monitor und Preis passt.

      Viel spass an alle zocker......
