1st monitor arrives with a faulty backlight, vertical lines about an inch apart for the entire width of the screen. Replacement arrives and seems to be working fine for a week, then develops a dead pixel. Another replacement arrives (thank you so much Amazon returns policy) with another faulty backlight and the same vertical lines as the first one.
I give up. Refund requested. Going back to buying Phillips.
Been buying iiyama for 20 years for my business, had a 19" CRT go down about 15 years ago, despite it being a year old they replaced it the next day. Bought this monitor in December as I love iiyama support and their screens but this monitor failed yesterday so I rang iiyama and they offered to fix this one in 7 - 10 days which is not acceptable when running a business, I need a replacement asap. They then offered me a refurbished replacement in 2 days time. So I bought a brand new monitor 4 months ago and now I will probably be getting it replaced with a monitor a few years old.
EDIT My replacement screen arrived today, no cables at all even though I was instructed to pack all cables and accessories with my broken monitor. To add further insult the replacement "refurbished" monitor is broken, the colours are almost VGA in standard with artefacts all over the screen.
Purchased two of these just in case the business required them. One worked fine the other had a bright light down the right hand part of the screen.
Contacted AMAZON and was given two numbers to ring to get assistance in returning faulty the product. Both numbers were not working. Still awaiting a response. The business was planning to purchase more of these monitors for other users, but will not now.
Eventually Amazon gave me the correct number! and when I got to iiyama they were good in resolving the issue.
got two star as i have to find a power lead, if i buy something in the uk i expect it to come with a 3 prong plug so i can use it, the monitor its self is great and can not fault it just a shame the wife has to wait to use it until i get another lead (used mine to test it)
edit: now having issues with the displayport were it is showing a blackscreen plugged cable from monitor into another displayport monitor and it works, reinstalled drivers and disabled freesync still black screen, hdmi works but freesync does not work on hdmi or i would keep it, now have to send it back :(
