Due to a slight design fault with the Wiley Fox Swift mobile phone most normal USB cables tend to slip out and not make a proper connection, this can result in a lot of frustration, particularly when you awake to your alarm and see that your phone has not charged at all over night! After misplacing the original cable that came with the phone I have tried many other generic cables but all of them were unreliable. After a bit of googling I discovered this cable from iTALKonline made specifically for the Wiley Fox and all I can say is that it does the job perfectly!

The cable itself is quite thick and feels very solid, it is well made from quality materials and comes in a variety of colours. The connector fits the phone very well indeed, so much so that you can actually walk around with the phone dangling from the cable, ( although I am not recommending you do this! ). I also love the flat design of the cable, in my opinion it gives the cable more strength and also helps to prevent any tangling.

If like me you have lost the original cable that came with your Wiley Fox phone I would highly recommend purchasing this as a replacement. Even if you haven't lost the original cable I would recommend grabbing one or two of these as spares. they are great cables and can obviously be used for any gadgets with a micro USB connection.

I was initially happy with the cable, until the connector fell apart after only 4 months, of only occasional use.

Reported it to iTALKonline-UK, who repeatedly refused to replace/repair it, despite being required (I believe) to by law (Consumer Rights Act 2015). They kept referring to their own 3-month warranty, and ignoring my questions about my rights under the law.

Obviously, the value is too low to bother taking it further, but beware.

I originally gave this a 1 star review as the cable did not fit my Swift phone. I had emailed them but after giving them details of my order I heard nothing. Then after putting up my bad review they got in touch and sent me a cable which did work. So I've changed the rating, but not a 5 star as they did supply a dud cable in the first place, and looking at other reviews this is not a one off thing.
So the moral of the story is write a bad review and you should get a replacement - don't keep quiet!

Bought this because it is supposed to work with Wileyfox, but it doesn't fit properly and falls out. E-mailed the seller via the card they give you in the package 2 days ago to say what the problem is and even took a photo but didn't get a response. Not worth sending back, it would cost me as much in postage!! The annoying thing is that I also purchased a green one which works perfectly well.

Chuffed to bits that a found a longer cable that actually works with my phone, The wileyfox is a great phone but boy does the charger annoy me, seem to have two little lumps in the original charger which lock with the phone holding the charger in place, universal charger do not have these. These little lumps mean you can move or knock the phone while charging and it will not lose connection. The original charger was very short and the length on this is perfect. Just right but still with the flat cable so it does not tangle which is sooo.. handy. Love the choice of colours is comes in and the price! Could maybe do with the little tie for the cable that the original comes with, but, we can not have everything. Little issue of the metal peice for the phone being to short when it arrived but emailed the seller and the replied immediately telling me to cut off the white seal around the base of the metal and try it, it obviously worked and was very pleased at the response of the seller.

Bought two of these but neither fits my WileyFox Swift as the Micro-USB plug is too short to lock into the port on the phone properly and falls out when touched.. Apart from this, they're decent quality cables which work OK with my other Android devices.

EDIT: The seller contacted me and said "I have tested the product and now I understand the issue. What you will need to do is cut the seal off with a cutting knife, or any sharp knife will do."

So it seems that this cable only works with the WileyFox Swift if you modify it by cutting a bit of the seal off!
Not recommended...
