I thought another full movie-length set of irreverent cockiness would grate and wear me down and it didn’t. However I feel the freshness of the approach in the first movie has paled a little and production value looked a little reduced. The action was fun, although there did appear to be some cost-cutting in CGI spend in a couple of moments where the it became a little more cartoon CGI. I laughed and enjoyed it and I would go as far as even being prepared to watch it again. So 4 stars from me.
The comedy of Deadpool played by Ryan Reynolds is nothing short of brilliant. He fits the role perfectly. Rule of any movie, never use the first as a bar for the second - both are fantastic but if your expectations is too hyped you may sully your enjoyment of watching this movie.
This does contain gore, swearing and drug references, but it is all shown in very comical ways - so probably not good for little ones but probably worth watching for many adults.
I personally love both in their own right and this builds on the series perfectly. If you haven't watched Deadpool 1, go back and watch that first.
Starts off a bit sad, but stick with it. It’s hilarious laugh out loud funny. Brilliant acting and Ryan is full of surprises. Don’t switch off until after the credits as there is an extra bit of film to make things even funnier.
Excellent.. I love deadpool and this film doesn't disapoint. Deadpool 2 is just as good as the first. The supporting characters are funny as...the story is fast paced and exciting..a laugh a minute.. I would definately recommend..i've watched it 3 times already and am still picking up subtle jokes that i didn't pick up on the first time...yes subtle lol..
I couldn't reach the super duper cut without seeing spoilers. It's impossible to fast forward and stop at 1:59:00 on the fire stick. Anyway, watch the normal cut, the s-d cut is full of in-jokes and stuff that ruins the narrative. Spoils it, albeit humourously, but no harm done, the proper version is at the start.
Brilliant film, lots of subtle innuendos throughout and references, clever, finally they do a proper juggernaut, cable was well acted, again Josh Broling who also plays Thanos shows his abilty as a in demand actor, Ryan Reynold fit sthe part of deadpool perfectly, as good as any Marvel film made....very funny
Another sure fire winner from RR in his role as WW. Finding Matt Damon was the funniest and his few lines, or Brad Pitt's flying entrance and end. Even when deadpool becomes a X-man, Person ("Trainee").
