The unmistakable power of love is celebrated in this story of one young man's decision to move to India and restart his life. He arrives in India as a disillusioned tourist, but Rocky's life changes when he meets a group of children living in an orphanage with HIV. He decides to stay and devote his life to them, while his best friend, director Steve Hoover, chronicles his transformative story.
Dear good reader, it would be unjust for you not to see some stars next to this film of greatness. Do yourself a favour and read a few of the many reviews already given by our American cousins. I'm only adding this review so that some stars appear next to the UK page. It is the most moving and humbling film I have ever seen. It will make you think on a higher plane. Just be careful about whether your DVD player will play this DVD. If not, you can always see it on a service like Amazon Prime TV or one of the others.
Everyone should watch this documentary. The love, dedication, and selflessness that Rocky shows to poor HIV positive children in India is so moving and humbling, it will put most of us in the West to shame and tears. Shows as well that a person doesn't have to be religious to be a saint. Beautiful documentary full of beautiful souls.
Excellent documentary deserves 10 stars. Rockyana is such a humble and selfless young man, I would be proud to call him my son. The children he cares for are all adorable in their own special way and they love Rocky unconditionally. A "MUST" watch, but be prepared to shed a few tears.
