Bought these for trips to London on the uunderground where it is very busy and in airports and foreign countries where it is too hot to hold hands! I work with children and it can only take a few seconds for a child to be taken by a stranger, these are comfortable to wear and give you peace of mind that your child is safe even if not walking right next to you! Definitely recommend this product and all the security officers on the tube and at airports loved them and other parents asked me where we bought them.

The wrist band is well made and comfortable to wear; my very sensory son, who is normally very fussy about what he has touching him, didn’t mind it at all.
I was concerned that the child strap would be easy to escape from, but my Houdini-like child didn’t manage it, so it’s obviously very effective!
The only negative point I have is that the coil stretches very far. I had to hold it gathered up in my hand to keep my son from getting too far away from me, as it stretched so long he would still have been able to bolt into the road/canal/etc. I tested how easy it would be to yank him back if needed and the answer was, not very!
For me, it will fulfil its purpose of helping to teach my child to walk safely so we can eventually phase out the pushchair, so long as we use it in a carefully selected environment, i.e. somewhere far from any dangers. Personally I don’t think it would be suitable to use everywhere; reins would be better for everyday use.

I recently bought these for a trip to London as my 9 year old is Autistic and I was worried about getting separated from him. I didn't think he would like having the strap on his wrist, but he said he felt safer with it and actually asked me a few times to put it on him. I noticed it calmed him when he was wearing it too, as normally he would fidget out of my grip to see something and I would have to chase after him but when he had the strap on his wrist he was telling me where he wanted to go meaning we had a much calmer experience than normal. The other strap was used for our 5 year old who hated it but still it kept him safe in the busier areas like the tube etc. Both straps were very strong, easy and quick to put on and don't take up much room in a bag when not in use. Will definitely be using them again.

Really good product for peace.of mind when out with a wondering grandson. Stretches out a good 6 foot which still gives them the freedom to investigate. Fasteners are a little awkward on the childside.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I was pointed in the direction of this to give my 7 year old autistic son a bit of freedom on walks whilst knowing he would be secure and not be able to wander off.

The VERY 1ST walk we use it and it SNAPS and my son is running off in to the distance with me holding the remainder of the snapped strap and my cuff after 10 SECONDS OF USE. Queue a very frantic run to get him back and a trip to the kitchen to throw the 2 parts in the bin.

This was an absolute waste of money and I would NOT recommend this to anyone who wants their child to remain secure.

Save yourselves the money and look elsewhere.

Soft, strong and comfortable with a genius fastening!

This is an amazing wrist link! Not only is it incredibly soft and comfortable to wear but it's so strong. The connecting coil is metal cord encased in plastic so there no change of it snapping. The adult wrist fastening is strong velcro coming back over itself whereas the child wrist is nothing short of genius! It's two layers of velcro going in opposite directions so my daughter will peel up the first one thinking that shes opened it yet shes still securely fastened in by the second layer underneath it!

If you have a little escape artist, you need this waist link!!

Useless!
Not fit for purpose!

I was fulled by the positive reviews.

I’ve waited a while before I actually used it.
I wish I done it sooner!

The moment I put it on my 2 year olds hand he took it off!

I’ve tried few times, wore it outside couple of times and each time he had it on for a second before he opened with ease the velcro strap.

For it to actually work it would have some sort of lock to prevent children from opening it.

I would give it -5 ⭐️ for that reason.

Bought this for my son who has autism, he was able to take this off in one swoop and ran for the hills. Bought this for our summer holiday. Apart from running for the hills, he actually managed well without it for the remaining part of the holiday although it wasn't worth taking.
