Don't bother with this unless you are a bit of a geek. Works really well with Windows based software. You can get a spectrum analyzer working over a frequency range of 1 MHz to 6 GHz and the ability to look at 20 MHz in one display. Now if you are prepared to experiment and play with Linux and GNU radio it is a fantastic tool for learning about software defined radios. Very pleased with my purchase. Excellent service and delivery.

Well I bought this with all sorts of ideas how to use it . Very speedier delivery for a weekend. I then had to go out and buy a aerial to use this device . I might as well not bothered. Once I sorted the software which was free. Originally built for Linux and then had to do a search on the web for the instructions as well. I plugged it into my Laptop connected the aerial ran the software SDRsharp all I got was static even on frequency which had radio stations on them according to my other receiver . To top it all off I thought lets plug the tv aerial into it. This again produced nothing but static .Think for the price this is terrible firstly the casing should be metal as we dealing with computers which give out radio interference. Also the usb cable could do with shielding. For the price it I'm very disappointed with it
