5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent breadboard kit with DC-DC Power Supply
Reviewed in the United States on 13 February 2017
Includes a 12 (+ 4 power) row x 50 column and 12 +4 x 25 breadboard of very nice quality, and an assortment of male to male jumpers.

They also include a YuRobot MB-V2 power supply which converts 6.5 to 12Vdc input from an Arduino-standard 5.1 x 2.1mm Jack to TWO outputs which plug into the breadboard. Either or both outputs outputs can be set to regulated 5Vdc or 3.3Vdc. Output current is limited to 700mA (I assume that's Total current.) Pin spacing is such that the MB board plugs into the breadboard crosswise--AND ONLY CROSSWISE, with a +-pair of outputs connected to the top Blue/Red row of connectors, and the other pair to the bottom row, holding the part securely in place. Excellent!

This supply includes a push-push on/off switch and power-on LED and plus a USB 2.0 "A" female power connector that can power your Arduino board or other device via the included short USB A-B cable.

They also throw in a guitar-pickish gadget which seems to be designed to pry parts off a breadboard. It worked very well in removing the power supply (and straightening its slightly bent pins.) Its bright green color was a bit much, but I surely will have no trouble finding it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Overall, great bundle.

The breadboards are as expected. The USB cable is ok if you are going to power the power supply with your USB. The jumper wires are m/m, it would be nice to have a few m/f connectors. If you are going to use a power supply, that can be done with a 2.1mm plug. The power supply is great, it hooks directly to your breadboard. There are jumpers on each rail that let you select 3.3v or 5v for each rail. There is also some mail pins that you can connect to on top of the board to supply power as well(this would be a good place to use those m/f wires :) )

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent quality at a good price.

No complaints, especially for the price. The boards are of decent quality and work well enough. I haven't had any failures with the breadboards in my limited use but I suggest care when using them. The included leads seem to work fine and the USB power module appears to be of good quality. I haven't had any problems with this kit. It isn't the highest quality setup you can buy but it also isn't the worst. For extra breadboards to have in your shop/makers space, this setup represents a good value, however, I recommend having a high-quality breadboard and test lead kit available for serious circuit mockups and prototyping. The UCEC is great for ancillary work but I wouldn't suggest building up a complex circuit with them.
