These lenses are an essential accessory for anybody who loves to take pictures with their phones, as they manage to unlock new capabilities for your phone’s camera. The lens kit comes neatly packaged in a classy box and supplies two clips with two lenses (one of which doubles up as the macro and the wide-angle lens, so one of the lenses is technically two).
The clips and lenses are universal and can be used on a variety on phones, either front camera or back. Fitting is very simple where you attach the desired lens on the clip and subsequently fit it over your device.
The images that these lenses manage to produce are amazing and have far exceeded beyond my expectations. The fish eye lens manages to capture an eerily skewed perspective and I admire how the image is a full square, and not reduced to a circle as some fish eye lenses do. The wide-angle lens amplifies your phone’s camera as it allows you to capture more of your surroundings from the edges of your camera. The most impressive lens however, is the macro lens. Essentially turning your phones camera into a microscope capturing depth in great detail makes for breath taking pictures. The macro lens is the one that I personally had the most fun with and was able to be the most creative.
I would pay this price for the macro lens alone. Having these other two great lenses included as well makes this item a must buy for anyone who loves to take pictures with their phone. A great item at a great price that opens up a world of new possibilities for you phone’s camera. My only regret is that I did not use this item for my holidays and out-of-town visits.

I had never considered clip on lenses for my smartphone, but now I have them, I love them!
You receive a small, well made cardboard box with foam padding protecting the lenses and clips. Despite being a 3-in-1 kit, you do only receive two lenses; the wide-angle lens unscrews to give you the macro lens. You also get a lens cleaner, and two identical clips. Each of the lenses slots easily in and out of the clips, which holds it securely.
Even with my phone case on, with cut-outs for the camera, the lens has no problem fitting to the camera and focusing the camera. I used each of the lenses in turn, first taking a photo without the lens, then an identical photo with the lens to give you an idea of how they look. Each photo was taken with an iPhone 5 camera.
The third photo in my review is your standard shot, then the fourth is with a fisheye lens. As you see, the lense "rounds" the image nicely and creates the bulging focus that you need. I had a little trouble focusing with this lens, but a little fiddling I managed to achieve a focus easily; I think this was merely a position issue.
Photos 5 and 6 show the original, then the shot with a wide lens. I have to admit, I didn't notice the difference at first. Only when I uploaded the photo to my computer and compared them properly side by side did I notice that there really was a significant difference between the two photos. (Apparently, at this point my dog thinks he's found his calling as a model, now appearing in 3 out of 4 shots..!) This lens is ideal for those wide shots you want, for example capturing landscapes and scenery.
Finally, photos 7 and 8 show the macro lens. For me, this is the most impressive.Read more ›
