Using your home's existing electrical wiring, TP-LINK’s TL-PA8030P kit AV1200 Gigabit Passthrough Powerline Starter kit turns any electrical socket into an Internet connection. Simply plug the powerline adapter into your wall socket and you are ready to enjoy HD streaming and gaming, no configuration required.
Homeplug AV2 Technology for Multi-Stream Networking
Backward compatible with HomePlug AV, HomePlug AV2 technology supports speeds up to 1200 Mbps, making it suitable for Internet video, online gaming, HD streaming and other network-intensive applications, particularly when using multiple HD/ultra HD devices simultaneously.
The TL-PA8030P kit is featuring the MIMO (Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output) technology with beamforming. MIMO is like adding extra lanes on a highway, this means you benefit from faster data throughput and more stable connections. MIMO technology enables TL-PA8030P kit to send data over all three wires within the typical three-wire (live, neutral and ground) home network, whereas the non-MIMO Homeplug AV devices only two wires.
This also significantly improves data transfer rates especially during peak periods.
TL-PA8030PKIT supports Line-Neutral/Line-Ground 2 × 2 MIMO with beamforming to create multiple data paths.
Three gigabit ports for maximum connectivityWith three Gigabit Ethernet ports, the TL-PA8030P kit can simultaneously connect up to three wired-only devices.
