I bought two of these...So you want 4k and you sit far away, problem solved you can run this at 125% DPI at 3ft away and still see it.Bezel is not unpleasing to the eye, there is better ones out there, but this is more than suitable, you won't be upset about it.Lovely colours, great image, VESA mounts, which is great. The problem I have with both monitors, is they have this horrible zebra type dark strips over them, I've added a picture, and in real life they're much stronger looking. On the left monitor they're more faint and and more of them of them, so you don't notice them as much, when the brightness is a bit higher, on the right monitor, there is one distinct one in the middle. Now for £625 each monitor, I'm pretty angry, I expect this from a £100 monitor, but not for a high end one, I say that, but I've never had a monitor do this, even the cheap ones, and I'm the sort of person who replaces monitors every couple of years.I did notice when I turn the monitor on each time it warns me of the burn in, which I found interesting I've not seen a monitor warn of such a thing, although I'm familiar with what is it is, and avoid that, although personally I've never seen it on a modern LCD, I though perhaps this could be what I have wrong with my monitors, after seeing that message, but I noticed my problem within a few seconds of turning it on, and to be honest it looks more like bad backlighting not spreading equally, I don't know.Another problem, I can see the flicker, like an old CRT screen, many years ago I had an LCD which did that, it died a few days later, it's more so with the right monitor than the left.Anyway, so I want to return at least the right one for a replacement, probably will return both, it depends on if the replacement for the right one is any better, if not, I may have to change brand as a 3rd bad one would suggest it's a widespread problem, rather than isolated, I mean two is bad enough. The problem with returning them, Amazon is now out of stock, so they'll only offer a refund, and to rebuy it from another seller is £50 more, so I'm currently waiting on Amazon to get stock before I can return it, which is quite annoying.I'm just wondering if anyone else had this problem, the other reviews don't seem to suggest any problems like this, but maybe they have their brightness on too high... If you put the brightness and contrast up maybe over 50 or 60% the defect becomes almost unnoticeable unless you look for it, however I like to run my brightness a little less than that, which enhances the problem.I made my desktop backround grey as it takes for a better photo to show the problem, however the problem in real life looks much worse on white when like browsing, but the camera doesn't pick it up so well with a white background. It should be all one shade, but it's more like a zebra,Other than the flicker and zebra stripes, they're amazing monitors, it would be 5 star, really I should give it 1 star for those faults, but that would be unfair to the things that are not faulty on this monitor. If you do buy this monitor, be sure to change the DP to 1.2 if you want UHD and then change the monitor to 60Hz, otherwise you'll get mega mouse lag, as by default it's 30Hz on DP 1.1, which is a bit silly of Phillips to have 1.1 as default, when people are buying this for the UHD RES.B

This monitor is BEAUTIFUL. I got it specifically because I wanted the multi-view capability for two PCs, but it is a stunning 4K monitor and works really well with my graphics card (you really need to ensure you have a graphics card capable of 4K @ 60Hz, otherwise it is wasted). Also, as many 4K info websites will tell you (but I didn't know before I got this), DVI is no good for 4K - you really need to use DisplayPort.

Make sure your graphics card supports DisplayPort (mini DisplayPort is also fine, although you'll need to buy an extra Mini-DP to DP cable as one doesn't come with the monitor...it does come with a full size DP to DP cable though). Finally, make sure you configure the monitor to read DisplayPort as version 1.2 as it defaults to v1.1 (you can do this easily through the on screen display)...if you don't, the maximum you will be able to get is 4K @ 30Hz, which doesn't look good at all - everything will feel too slow.

None of these issues are because of the monitor itself (other than the defaulting to 1.1), but make sure your current kit can support this monitor before you buy it or you will be really disappointed.

Other than that, definitely get this :) It is GORGEOUS and an absolute joy to work on - particularly if you have two sources that you want to be able to flick easily between (or even see on the screen at the same time). I was genuinely surprised there aren't many reviews out there for this monitor so took a bit of a chance in buying it, but I'm so glad I did. It's brilliant :)

I am really please i bought this. The price compared to the others is the main reason. The quality of image is fantastic. I play world of tanks on this and it works fine. I mainly bought this for my adobe software and in that it is fantastic. the size of the screen also means I can work far more easily.
Thanks to the 1st reviewer I have changed the settings so run at full 4K.
I take one star off because of the lack of connections. I was hoping for 2 mini ports so i could plug in my mac but can't.

Update
Dropping ratings - Philips advertised this as 4K 60hz ready over HDMI - it certainly isn't . Support keep telling it is but no matter what you connect over hdmi, it won't go beyond 30hz, so no XBOX 4K !

Update Sept 2018:
Screen is actually not delivering 4K@60HZ over HDMI. To my surprise connecting XBOX ONE X, it fails to accept it as 4K @60h. Then tested with PC (normally using DP) and same problem happens. SO DP at full 4K, no issue but not working over HDMI
Philips bods adamant it supports it but reality proves them wrong - awaiting outcome of support case as definitely a case of false advertising.

Original Review

Fantastic screen - still getting used to the extra real estate.

Color representation is fantastic. Each screen is calibrated and my report had a uniformity difference of max 1% which is pretty much perfect. Avg Delta E of .79 again is near perfect calibration. Thanks to other reviewers fixed the DP port to 1.2, massive difference.

Movies look very good - lack of decent 4K material is annoying now ;-)

Some minor points as well
* sound bar - shouldn't have bothered adding that !
* one single DP.. bit stingy, would have loved to see two
* not possible to find out if the HDMI port is HDCP 2.2 or not ... would be cool to use the new fire 4K

5.0 out of 5 stars Monitor superiore a qualsisi aspettativa
Reviewed in Italy on 22 April 2017

4.0 out of 5 stars Prodotto acquistato da Amazon Warehouse ma praticamente nuovo
Reviewed in Italy on 20 August 2017

4.0 out of 5 stars Guter Monitor
Reviewed in Germany on 21 July 2016

Fazit: scharfes Standbild; langsamer Systemstart.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pixelfehler Deluxe und Schärferoulette
Reviewed in Germany on 6 April 2017
Warum verkauft man solche Geräte?
