There is nothing like an Asylum film where there is a disaster and a family is trying to save itself. In this formulaic disaster, Gabe, the fireman (Treat Williams) takes his estranged daughter (Jillian Rose Reed) to an impromptu dinosaur petting zoo. It seems those wonderful folks at Geneti-Sharp have created their own Jurassic Park in their office building. Things go oops. We witness scenes already done in "Jurassic Park" as people play hide and seek with a meat eater.

The film is complete with blood splatter and an exploding CG helicopter. May work as a film for the 9-tween. Adults can pass on this one.

Parental Guide: No f-bombs, sex, or nudity.

The movie isn't great like all the other big names but still watchable by all means, The use of new technology with the breakthrough of fresh regenerating that a biotech firm creates a museum of living dinosaurs that manage to escape and terrorize Los Angeles. Sounds a familiar sort of story line from many other movies concepts. A father looking for his teenage daughter in amongst the creatures that there has got to be action with the thrills and spills going on all around in this show, suspense is holding and so I rated this an A grade worth having a peek at when nothing better on. Enjoy!

This is from Asylum pictures. The Dudes that brought us Snakes On A Train and Sharknado, though I do have to say that the past couple of films they've released seemed to have gone for Bigger(ish) Stars.Ving Rhames,Danny Trejo and Michael Jai White to name but a few.Age does this as well, having the great Ronny Cox along with the always reliable and likable Treat Williams. The story though filled with plot holes and contradictions does move at a fair old Whack and throws plenty of Dino's at you to the point that you forget the faults and just enjoy the show.

If you have seen a few movies from The Asylum you'll know what to expect, a low budget cinematically engineered hybrid that takes ideas from other movies and adds a daft twist or two along the way.
It's certainly not to be taken too seriously. Former Fireman Treat Williams takes his daughter to a presentation from Geneti-Sharp however she is that bored she nips out to listen to music whilst the Dinosaurs are introduced by Ronnie (Robocop) Cox. The inevitable happens and the reasonably done CGI creatures escape causing mayhem in downtown Los Angeles.
It's good old harmless knockabout fun as the beasts charge on regardless despite being riddled with enough firepower to fight a small war.
Nice to see them give credit at the end to the true pioneers of dinosaur creature effects Willis O'Brien, Ray Harryhausen and Phil Tippett.
As for extras there's a 5 minute "Making Of" documentary and a brief 2 minute gag reel as well as a trailer that are worth watching once.
Just the sort of movie to watch and groan along to with a few beers.

I'd like to point out that the review that the one person who gave this movie five stars said "Excellent sercive" This is not a "sercive", its a product. I gave this movie two stars instead of one because its actually so bad its kind of funny. This movie is bad in every way, but I'd recommend watching it for comical value.

Not bad, but not good movie either. CGI dinosaurs, not my cup of tea. Better then most asylum production movies. But who churns these scripts out, because someone should sack him.
