I went into the film blind, I didn't know that it was French, but being Dutch I have no problem watching a film in a different language than my own and keeping up with subtitles.
At first when I saw the drawings mix with the life action I thought it a bit weird, but soon I loved it. His drawing style is not too realistic but this contributed to the mysteriousness of it all. I learned a lot from this film, I'm recommending it to a lot of people.

The intant video on mobile constantly gives sn error when I try to play it.

Amazing story, cinematography. Story of one man, artist, who sits in trees in tropical forests and make drawings of the changing forest. Film captures his lifes work, the Amazon and African tropical fotest life and is animated through awesome illustations. Just remarkable, don't miss it.

Beautiful and spell-binding. I found the information about the evolution of the passionflower and the butterflies in just a couple of decades mind blowing.
