i hope they make a second season of this. it was a little slow and dull in parts but on the whole the storylines were good, well paced and played brilliantly by the cast. the characters were very strong and interesting. the storyline really showed the heartache, the obsession, the passion of loving someone you shouldn't. and of the people who are hurt in the process. thoroughly recommended.

I absolutely loved this series. It portrayed the wonder, excitement, and the inevitable misery and heartache for families, that illicit love creates. All this alongside an excellent study of powerful families, crime, murder, and greed. The acting was simply superb throughout. More please!

I am really enjoying this series - the characters are multidimensional and varied. There is fair character development and some talented well known cast members. Events/ the plot are portrayed with acting and scenarios rather than melodrama/monologues. It is fast paced and engaging. The plot is refreshingly unpredictable.

I have watched the whole lot but did not get into the first 2 episodes,However I stuck with it and enjoyed it.At episode 10 I hardly recognised Jack's wife. Her face changed and I had thought she was a pretty woman before and here was this hard-faced person now.It seems so many people change their appearance .I would happily watch more

I loved this series and was hooked from the 1st episode. So intense. Story of love, betrayal and human choices. So upset to hear it has been cancelled in US and they are not making a 2nd series. Amazon we need another series as the last one, left us on tenterhooks, with unfinished business between Jack & Sarah.

This was one of the best dramas I have seen in many a year. It is very realistic, the events that occurred could have happened. Some reviewers have said that it was slow but in fact it was just real. The relationship between Sara and Jack developed slowly and you can see how their decisions weighed on them especially the moment when Sara makes the decision to stay at the train station instead of catching her train. Its the most important moment in the whole story I feel. I loved their love although felt that at times it lacked intensity. The end was so very sad for Jack and in his haste to act properly and avoid his previous mistakes he let Sara go too easily whereas for her love still lingered. I simply wanted Jack to tell her he loved her, he never really did that. I also felt that while her husband was a pretty decent guy he just lacked that deep love she needed, something Jack could give her. Unfortunately I think this ends the series but nonetheless a very good one indeed.

Intelligent script, well acted by all the cast, and believable. I recognised T.J. but couldn't remember where from and was amazed that he was the young kid in E.T., goodness was it that long ago. His acting is brilliant in this. The scenes where Sara embarks on her affair cover all the emotions that only another woman would recognise and I am guessing these were the episodes produced by women. Non of the usual cliches where man has affair and his wife is horrible or that the corrupt head of a corporation has no conscience (played by the brilliant James Cromwell). The scene where Sara and Drew are explaining to little Oliver about their break-up was so touching and real. Also, Stuart Townsend is so watchable that it makes this series even more addictive.

I loved this.....cant believe it didnt get renewed. I wanted to know who Sarah was talking to in the last scene - Jack or Drew?

The plot did get a little boring, but I never expected Vic to do what he did.

Amazon - will you be picking this up?
