The phone is as described with large easy to use buttons and it works quite well, but it really falls down with it's user manual. I have had a mobile phone for a number of years and feel that I know my way round them a little bit, this was purchased for an elderly relative and they would never have managed to work out how to use it, even a web address would be useful to download a manual. I think Digital Tec should urgently address this issue.

When the phone arrived it looked easy to use

I brought this phone for my elderly mother who only wanted a phone to call people on. When the phone arrived it looked easy to use, however my mother soon discovered that was not the case. When my mother tried making a phone call by mistake she pressed the 2 arrow buttons and this activated the radio, my mum panicked as she thought she had done something wrong. After lots of playing around with the phone I myself could deactivate the radio. As a result of this I have had to buy another phone for her.

Bought this phone for my elderly Mother. Her sight is failing and so the large buttons are a great help. The phone is easy to use but setting it up was a bit of a mine field. The instructions are too scanty and considering the phone is designed for elderly people leave a lot to be desired. Setting it up was rather 'hit and miss'. Having said that, once set up, the phone works well for my mother.

My mum aged 83, who I bought the phone for, found the user manual to be useless. Instructions on the use of each function was inadequately explained or was non-existent. Also a very small type face! ! ! ! The images were tiny bearing in mind this is a large button phone for seniors who may have poor eyesight. I had to navigate around the phone guessing how to use the functions.

Until the manual is a manual for senior citizens I cannot recommend this phone.

I really needed something like this for my dad, because he has problems with his hearing. This phone has very loud volume so whenever I call he can hear without any problem, Plus he can see all the buttons without any problem . I think every senior citizen will like this.

I purchased this for an elderly gentleman who was technically minded. After one use that was enough. Easy? No. menu for contacts gives you the option to edit a contact first then another option later to call.. WTF. Before I knew it all the numbers were corrupted by him trying to make simple calls for help from people like me, carers. THis device is simply designed by able bodied people with what seems to be very little experience in elderly/Senior Citizens.

IF YOU CARE FOR SOMEONE DONT CONFUSE THEM WITH THIS RUBBISH
