This is one of the best "american" style shows - lots of episodes but occasional story arcs and some strong characters / plot reveals.

Heavy use of flash backs for interesting back stories

I absolutely love this programme. I just wish the announcers would stop saying it's a J.J. Abrams production as Jonathan Nolan is the undisputed genius behind this fabulous series. I just wish in the later series that those people who have been helped by The Man in the Suit would have come forward to help the team in their hour of need. That having been said, I am having a great time watching it again, having recently bought it.
