I've been using this for my hybrid bike basically leaving it for about a few hours at a time for college. The lock is pretty beefy and is in fact beefier than some of the bike racks I've used. It is pretty thick and is reasonably lightweight for the protection it provides. It is even recommended by well renowned lock pickers on Youtube, such as Lockpickinglawyer, as it has a very secure locking mechanism. The shackle's rectangular design makes it hard for boltcutters to hold onto. I also chose this lock because it seems to withstand a lot of force before you can break it with a jack. I use this lock alongside a cable to secure the front wheels and a rotor brake lock. Sometimes I even use another U lock with it if I'm going to leave it for longer. The USH bracket has been really helpful in carrying it around especially if you don't want to carry it on a backpack as I do because it hurts my back after a while.
So far, I haven't found any cons to using this lock. Keep in mind that locks are only a deterrent. A determined bike thief would get through any lock. Although it is not on the affordable price bracket for locks, it is surely a worthy investment if you want to keep your bike.
