I agree with most of the reviews so far. This film really is kinda pointless. Very little happens and there isn't much back story or explanation. I wasn't sure if this was intended to be a comedy or not because most of the deaths are comical.

Things I learnt from this film:

1. Never wear a face mask when using a chainsaw, if you do happen to chainsaw half your face off you need to rev the chainsaw again to release the saw from the face.
2. If you get impelled in the eye and are taken to hospital, they will release you within hours and even give you a car to drive back to your camp.
3. There is a very high chance that if you are left with just one eye, you will lose the other eye within hours in almost the same manner.
4. Rather then leave the camp and call the police about the two accidents that have happened, just dig a hole and bury the bodies

This film is best watched after a few beers so you can crack up in laughter when these idiotic characters act like idiots but it would be best if you just save your cash and buy something that rewards you as a viewer instead.

A very unusual and offbeat film. It hits the mark in every aspect. Simple and so well made. So,e very clever plot twists along the way and the end meets the beginning which is always satisfying. Unheralded actors (female and male) doing an excellent job. With less than 10 actors and limited budget I do hope that this is the way forward, it's like the Scream meets Saw love child. Excellent film and full value for 9/10

I Didn't Come Here To Die follows six volunteers working on a humanitarian project in the woods. When horrific accidents begin to happen human nature takes over leading to rash decisions and unpredictability where it becomes everyone for themselves whether they know it or not. Going into this movie you think you are going into a full on slasher horror style film, but sadly that never happens. While there is plenty of gore and kills all of it chalks up to just random accidents, panic, and mental anguish. There is a lot of build up here heading nowhere. The story plays pretty straight forward and for clearly having a small independent budget doesn't look too bad, but beyond that this film offers little. The actors are pretty average to bad which would be fine if there was more substance to the film, but sadly there is nothing. They seem to be trying to do something clever, but instead deliver a film with no point what so ever.3/10

This is a rather pointless "horror" film. A group of 20 somethings are out in the woods, some long distance from the road to clear an area for a large camp site for kids...one you can't reach by car. The cast introduce themselves as a way to quickly build character. As they clear the woods accidents happen and this thing turns into a "ten little Indians" tale for no rhyme or reason.

The acting was decent. The dialouge was well written. The plot flowed rather well in spite of some issues, but there was no substance to the story...or maybe I am missing something. Some films are made better by not explaining what happened (Yellow Brick Road), but it didn't work for me in this one. After watching a fairly decent film, I was let down by the ending, the last scene which caused me to laugh (by design). The closeups of the chainsaw showed it didn't have a chain but a serrated blade made to look like chain.

The land was donated by a family whose little girl was murdered, which didn't really enter the film. Apparently the land they are on is cursed, but by what and why? Did the girl being killed curse the land or was that because of it? Or was one of the campers cursed or a victim of it? Or was it all fate? The film will need a sequel to explain this one.

Parental Guide: F-bombs, near sex, nudity (Grindhouse girl Emmy Robbin)

Safety Note: If you have something embedded in you, like a stick, the proper first aid is to stabilize the item and seek medical attention. DO NOT YANK IT OUT. That opens up the hole and causes bleeding. Also the proper way to insert foam ear plugs is to squeeze and roll the end of the plug going in the ear canal, pull the ear back, end then insert it. You don't just jam it in.

Okay, so Ive never done this before but for this movie I had to write something to the true horror fans out there.
This is an awesome B-Grade (stress the B) film. Not amazingly gory all the way through, but one gory scene with a chainsaw (you know what I'm talking 'bout) is one of the best I've seen in quite some time. This is not a film that everyone's going to enjoy. The acting's pretty cheesy and the film style pretty grainy and frankly a little hard to watch. But who the hell cares. Incredibly memorable scenes, a believable plot and an end so fantastically funny, I almost wet myself. If you're a true horror connoiseur and enjoyed recent films like 'Hobo with a Shotgun', 'Dead Snow', and 'The Loved Ones' then you will love this.

Firstly don't be fooled by the cool DVD cover and the false quotes on the front especially the over the top comment that says the best horror debut since the evil dead ha, ha, its really nothing more than a cheap low budget horror that is amazing to watch but is NO masterpiece and is certainly NO Gorefest, lord knows what these reviewers are watching, the story is thin and pointless in a way but does hold quite well with a fairly decent cast and an old school 80's vibe about it especially with the cheap film grade, the film has some gore one major scene in particular which is done very well involving a chainsaw, and it does have its funny moments too probably the final shot of the movie will raise a laugh, overall its worth a watch if you can get it cheap but don't expect anything special, ignore the false advertising on the DVD cover.
