Will And Grace 8 Seasons

Season 8
4.6 out of 5 stars (29) IMDb 8.1/10

He's a good-hearted lawyer with a great sense of humor and an even better sense of style. She's a slightly neurotic, self-employed interior designer with romantic tendencies. They're already best friends and roommates, they love each other and they'd be married by now if it weren't for one little thing. Will is gay. Otherwise, Will and Grace are perfect for each other.

I've been an avid viewer of Will and Grace for the past eight years and this season does not disappoint. From the opening live episode to the finale you will be laughing and crying.

It's a credit to the writing and acting that you get drawn into this season. There is an emotional depth to it that really makes you relate to the characters and their situations. Plus as a fan of Megan Mullally it was great to see the softer side of Karen Walker.

The Finale is fantastic, due to the small touches that culminate eight years, Kevin Bacon's guest appearance, Karen and Jack touching stomachs like they did in their first meeting, (their duet is fabulous, both are very talented... Megan's album is worth buying) and Will and Grace sharing a phone call about ER's George Clooney, just as they did in the beginning.

A big thank you to all involved for making this season as good as all the others, if not better!

I am a big fan of `Will & Grace'and I have seen every single episode several times and they always make me laugh. The scriptwriters of this series really did an excellent job. The actors are also excellent. If you want to relax and have a good time and a good laugh this is a product for you. Hope you will enjoy it.

The final ever season of Will and Grace is sadly here, but I think the team have managed to produce an admirable final series which puts the like of Friends to shame.

Season 8 is of a much higher standard than that of season 7 which seemed to lack in quality towards the end. All of the actors; Eric, Debra, Sean and Megan all perform to the highest standard this season and their characterisation is at its very best.

What I admire most about their series is the two live episodes which were great to watch. Despite the fact Debra Messing (Grace) and Sean Hayes (Jack) laughed their way through bits of them, it made me realise how professional and great the four are at acting, and I think it also shows off the standard of Will and Grace as a TV Programme above all others.

The DVD is packed with excellent extras, including my favourite Bloopers collection which, of course, has me laughing my socks off.

The only downside for me of this series was the actual Finale. Aside from the fact that I didn't want it to end, I also felt the episode was slightly unrealistic for the characters (I won't ruin it for the people who have not seen it)... but it has some strong points, such as the mirrored actions to the pilot episode. Aside from the script of that episode, everything else about it was very good.

So, we say Goodnight Gracie one last time, and Will and Grace box set 8 gets 10/10 from me.

I have been a huge Will and Grace fan for over a year now. I have been deployed for the last year or so and I borrowed the second season from one of my battle buddies and just fell in love with the show. From the drunken words of Karen Walker to the guy after guy after might be gay but dont know Grace Adler. I will always cherish this show and cannot wait to complete my set with this Last but not least season. If you want a good no make that great and never ending laugh then add this plus the other seven seasons to your movie collection and be prepared to shed tears of joy and sadness as you venture into the lives of Will, Grace, Jack and Karen. It is a roller coaster of every emotion imaginable.

I have been a lover of Will and Grace since it hit the screens in 1998, I have loved the kinds of relationships they all have. My fav character has got to be Karen, she has great one liners that make me fall of the edge of my seat. I totally agree with the previous viewer about Will and Grace, its the best show ever. According to some viewers of Will and Grace, it has been "running out of steam" this is not true, if anything it has gottin funier over the past 8 years. This season of Will and grace is fantastic, it willmake you laugh and also make you cry, its well worth buying.

I love Will & Grace - or more accurately Karen Walker - but was disappointed that this box set didn't have subtitles. I have hearing difficulties and find it hard to catch Karens quips, my favourite parts.

season 8. normally when i finish a season of will and grace i consider buying the next purely because of the anticipation of the characters new lines and the spectacular way they are delivered. even though they always have a cliffhanger at the end of a season i found myself thinking that i would be missing out on fundamental television if i neglected the newer series, and regardless of the cliffhangers you could always count on the crew to put on a great performance. however, the purchase of season 8 was different, a whole new ball game as it were. the last episode of series 7 left me wallowing in anticipation, upset that i had to wait for my next paycheck. the news of stan riled me up, and when the oppurtunity arose to watch the first episode of season 8 i was not disappointed. the introduction of live shows just heightened the idea that the cast obviously have a lot of fun creating this show, and the hilariously funny new plot lines made the finale so much harder to watch knowing that this would be the end. personally i believe that the writers were spot on with the finish, ending it while it was still funny, hilarious even, as oppposed to friends, where, although the final season was worth a watch, a couple of the characters performances were painful to watch considering their previous acting. i was expecting this type of ending with will and grace, must see, yet without the class of the previous seasons. alas, it was, and always was, a league of it's own.
