Everything You Need, Nothing You Don't
These systems start with a case and Carbide Series 300R provides a remarkable number of features in a compact chassis. Easy access, lots of room for expansion and cooling make the 300R a right choice for building powerful PCs that don't take up a lot of room.
Serious Cooling Potential
The 300R is equipped with two fans for intake and exhaust and the integrated dust filters on the front and bottom intakes are easy removable. There's room for you to instal five more fans, including mounting points for two side panel 120 mm fans for drawing cool air directly over your GPUs. If you're building a multi-GPU gaming rig, proper graphics ventilation is essential.
It's Big Where It Counts
Despite its size, the 300R can fit extra-long graphics cards of up to 450 mm length and it has three optical drive bays and four hard drive bays. All the bays are tool-free and the hard drive bays have integrated support for 2.5 inch drives, so you won't need to deal with adapters when installing SSDs.
Build Quality
Whether you're building multiple systems or just one and whether you're a professional or if it's your very first build, the 300R has the smart features that matter. Just like the drive bays, the side panels are tool-free, so you'll spend less quality time with your screwdriver.
The black painted interior has a CPU cutout for quick installing or upgrading of CPU heatsinks and Corsair's cable management system provides a straightforward way to route cables behind the motherboard, not across it where it can interfere with airflow and give your system a cluttered look.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 June 2013Style Name: 300R-Non-WindowedVerified PurchaseI was looking for a budget gaming case which suited my needs of USB 3.0 ports on the front, decent airflow and a simple black look (I'm not one for flashy lights and perspex panels!)
The Corsair 300R fits all of my needs perfectly. The matt black finish looks stylish and discrete. The case has quick fitting ports for CD/DVD drives which slide and lock in to place, as well as a clever HDD mounting system which has trays that pull out and (removable) pins either side to secure a full size HDD. The downside of these is the SSD I purchased was too small to fit using the pin arrangement so these had to be removed and the SSD was fitted using screw holes provided on the tray (the necessary screws came with the case)
The front layout is good with the USB 3.0, headphone, microphone and power button/reset buttons at the top, the cables supplied are a good length to reach to the corners of the motherboard. The "cable management system" consists of several cut outs in the internal support structure which are remarkably effective in giving positions to bring cables in from behind the motherboard. On the non-motherboard side of the case there is enough room between the removable panel and the support structure to coil unnecessary cables.
Finally the 2 supplied fans are well positioned and seem to provide plenty of airflow, particularly with the additional meshed areas on the top and side of the case which can be used to mount additional fans (again screws are included for this purpose).
In summary it provides excellent room, features and looks for a very decent price, I would recommend it to others.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 August 2013Style Name: 300R-Non-WindowedVerified PurchaseThe first thing I noticed about this budget case was the very solid build quality it certainly didn't feel cheap once I'd wrestled it from the box. The corners cut to keep the price down are not immediately obvious and it has a feel of quality good job corsair. On opening the case the first thing I spotted was the lack of stand offs for the motherboard. This threw me as on previous builds I've always used stand offs and so was taken aback!
No need to worry the bolt holes are raised from the back plate so that stand offs are not required to stop a short. There is one dummy stand off located in the centre of the back plate to help orientate your board but this can be taken out with pliers if it doesn't line up with your motherboard. If it does line up it can be replaced with the one stand off supplied it is the only stand off you need and then its simply a case(bad pun) of screwing in the mother board screws to the back plate and if you don't have your own those screws are provided. The drive caddies are a nice easy way to fit HD's and SSD,s.
The screwless design and holes for cable tidying are well thought out. Two fans are supplied a 140mm front fan and 120mm exhaust fan. I replaced the front fan by simply grabbing the front of the case by the bottom whilst its on the edge of a bench and tugging with manly pressure. This exposed the front fan mounts which allowed me to remove the 140mm fan and accommodate two 120mm fans. I ended up mounting the 140mm fan on the roof of the case as an extra exhaust. All required bolts were supplied..
The cable tidy system is very good and my overall impression is of a well thought out design however there are a few minor problems hence the four out of five.
Firstly the front HD audio connector is a little short another inch or two would have been useful. It just about reaches the connector in the bottom left corner of my mobo.
Secondly the front USBs are 3.0 which would be fine if they had included an adapter to facilitate connecting to the USB 2.0 port on my old mobo. We dont all have 3.0 front panel connectors on our mobos yet so an adapter would have been a nice welcome addition.
All in all however a first rate case for the money with only a few minor issues that will happily house your PC for years to come well done corsair !
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 June 2015Style Name: 300R-Non-WindowedVerified PurchaseI really should of bought a case like this the first time round but instead I decided to buy a cheapy crappy £20 mini tower from Maplin because it came with a 500w psu, a couple years later when I had finally thrown out that dodgy cheap power supply for an efficient corsair one I decided to invest in a new case because the old one had poor airflow, not a lot of room for long gpus and literally no room for cable cable management behind the mobo. I went for this one because it looked spacious and well built and it was Corsair of course. The case arrived in a huge box, my first impressions were that it is well built, good quality, bloody heavy, very tall and good looking (especially the badge on the front I love it).
Moving parts from my old case to this one was a very long process, I found the removable drive bays to be handy. My 3 pin ports for my fans are on the far left side of the motherboard and and the cables were to short to stretch behind the back to the nearest hole so I had no other choice just to leave the cables hanging, if the case had a hole closer to the top left of my mother board this wouldn't of been a problem. Cable managing in this case in general is okay, there isn't much space behind the back of the motherboard which meant that closing THE SIDE PANEL IS SUCH A PAIN! because every time a cable pushes against the panel or a cable hangs out the couple of small hooks helped a bit I suppose for keeping a few cables in place. My motherboard doesn't support usb 3.0 rendering the front usb ports useless so I bought an adapter of Amazon as well.
The case on my desk 3 weeks later still looks good, I've gotten use to the size another feature I like is the feet you would struggle to accident knock it off your desk unless you have it on the floor but if you do what are you doing man there is dust down there?

WentworthReviewed in Spain on 19 March 20145.0 out of 5 stars Caja premium muy bien ventilada

B1TG0DReviewed in the United States on 24 November 20145.0 out of 5 stars Best case I've owned and I've owned a lot of cases.
This case has many features that cases double or triple the cost have. I've owned this case a little over 3 months now and I'm still in love with it. First of all it's really quiet, I mean whisper quite I can't even tell if my PC is on or off. There are so many features to talk about but to keep things brief I'll go over the main one's I like.
1. Dust filters, Every air inlet on this case has a dust filter that easy to remove clean and replace very convenient!
2. Tool-less tear down and rebuild, every panel is removable without tools it provides excellent access to everything, even the front if you'd like to install liquid cooling there or extra fans
3. Layout flexibility, the inside of this case is cavernous and has plenty of room for large graphics cards or access to plug in another SATA drive easily without tweezers. You can install a fan just about anywhere you want and it has multiple mounting points for liquid cooling options (Front, Top, Back)
4. Cable management, all cables can be cleanly tucked away behind the motherboard panel making the inside look clean and neat while leaving plenty of smooth air to cool all your goodies.
5. Value, did I mention you get all of these features for less than $100! I've already convinced two of my friends to sell their more expensive cases and get this one. It's a great value.
Pro's: It's got everything your average techie could want and then some for a great price.
Con's: None for this price point, but super users will need something more for highly custom setups.
Hank SueReviewed in Canada on 5 April 20195.0 out of 5 stars Excellent tower case for home use
Style Name: 300R-Non-WindowedVerified PurchaseI have been using this case for over a year. It's quiet and has lots of room for two DVD players and multi-card tray unit. The internal space is large enough for the newer video cards such as the nVidia 1070 or 1080. The case is easy to open, install additional hard drives, and the cored management is quite good. Highly recommended.

EttoreReviewed in Italy on 11 April 20145.0 out of 5 stars Case Carbide 300R veramente di qualità
Promosso a pieni voti.
