It works well on my mid end laptop, which is impressive for a small usb powered product and lets me use it hidden behind the TV as a fully featured mediacenter. I even got most stations with the tiny antenna included, although it works much better with a main house antenna attached. Couple of negatives to be aware of though
- most users will use windows media center, whereas this assumes that you will install the crappy TV software it comes with. You don't have to use it, but you do have to install it, as otherwise you wont get the remote control software that let you use the remote in media center(why is it so hard to just supply a MCE compatible one?) or the software that lets you switch between diversity mode and dual tuner mode. I wasted a lot of time having only installed the drivers and thinking that the dual tuner did not work, as the default setting seems to be diversity which Media center recognises as only one tuner (Shame that switching cant be automatic according to signal strength). Suspect that is the cause of some other reviews saying the dual tuner does not work at all.
- the remote control is OK, but not that responsive or ergonomic, and the positioning of the infrared sensor on the device is dumb, it is on the same side as the antenna connection, forcing you to look at ugly cables if you want the remote to work
- the device is quite fat in both directions, so don't expect to use a directly neighbouring USB socket unless you use the extention usb cable provided.

I bought this to avoid buying a second USB tuner and regret it now!

The Nova works great in diversity mode (both tuners linked to provide one signal) but the signal is noticeably poor on most channels and appalling on some if you use the tuners separately.

I ended up buying a signal booster and plugging the excellent August DVB-T205
August DVB-T205 PC/Laptop USB Freeview TV Receiver & Recorder - Support Windows 7/Vista/XP  back in as the second tuner.

So, if you need two signals you should seriously consider getting two August DVB-T205 and a booster (the 2 Way TV Aerial Signal Booster from Lloytron is excellent
2 Way TV Aerial Signal Booster ) - this is a little more expensive and untidy but you won't be cursing when you find you can't watch the programme you recorded!

Update (29/07/201):

I have now given up with this, as the signal fails even in single tuner mode and is often unwatchable in dual mode, and had to return it to Amazon for a full refund as it is clearly not 'Fit for purpose' or of 'Satisfactory quality' - a very expensive piece of poorly engineered kit and I shall be buying another far cheaper and far better August tuner.

I really bought this, not to watch TV but to gain access to the audio channels which come with Terrestrial Digital TV - the quality of this seems superior to that of DAB, FM or the internet - so that I could listen with better hi-fi to Radio 3, though Classic FM isn't available of course. In that, it works splendidly. (I also discovered that if you record a _radio_ programme, the file, though labelled .ts, only has to have its ending changed from .ts to .mpg and it can immediately be used without further conversion.) I have no access to a proper digital aerial, so use an old analogue one instead. This works well, for audio and video, by sacrificing the dual tuner and using it in 'diversity' mode - presumably using both in parallel to improve the signal. (Many thanks, to the reviewer who guided me into looking for that in choosing it.) The small remote control seems completely temperamental, sometimes working and sometimes not, but it's quite easy to use a right-click with the mouse to change channel and control it anyway. I've found the tuner isn't totally reliable - i.e. it very occasionally cuts out - and I wouldn't trust it as the only means of recording some precious item; but generally it's quite good. There's an EPG to help. It has a button for teletext but that doesn't work at all. I've not yet managed to get the advance programmer to work to record something. Generally I think it's good, and for hi-fi radio or TV it's magnificent.

bought this product as i was desperate for a dual tuner for my computer product was not the same as in the picture with one aerial port on the end but instead 2 mini ports on the side which they provide an adaptor to go to a roof top aerial computer scanned for and found 105 channels including some radio channels however reason unknown the device seems to pick and choise whether to record some programs some are perfect with no flickering or cut offs and others just dont record you go to the channel next day to see if that channel doesnt have signal and the immage is fine it is almost as if the device is turning off and then not turning back on again when it should have used hauppauge devices befor and been brill disapointed with this one would not buy it again

Diversity Works Well (but this involves both tuners working together to give the best signal possible) in Dual Mode it can't see any stations under Windows Media Centre. Perhaps this has to do in part with signal strength. No stations found when used in conjunction with included aerials - I don't know where you'd have to sit in order for these to work.
