    Excellent with Windows 7 64bit Pc. Downloaded the drives for the Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller and it was quick efficient and easy to get the correct driver software. Then plugged the Official Xbox Wireless Gaming Receiver into a USb3 port and Microsoft Windows 7 Operating system checked found any other software and drivers required and installed them quickly efficiently. So next after it had done this and said the device was ready pressed the sync buttons on both the Xbox 360 Wireless Control and the Wireless Gaming Receiver and in a matter of seconds the two were paired with perfection and on playing a game(Bioshock was the game I tested it with)all the controls works flawlessly and I didn't have to keep re syncing both the products just did it once when the game was loaded and the game I was playing gave me the option to use the Xbox 360 control which I did and played for hours with no problems. So far so good it seems to be a quality Microsoft Official Product. Easy to use,Fairly Easy to set up and the product seems well made. Has adequate cable length of a good 2M or more didn't measure the cable as it seemed suitably nice and long from device to USB port and when you have finished using the device for gaming you can unplug it from the USB Port and as the Xbox 360 control stays on just unplug the batteries so the control doesn't remain powered up and using the batteries power. As long as you plug the receiver into the same USB port no problems should occure on next time you use the Wireless Receiver. A true worth while purchase if you already own a Xbox 360 Wireless Control or controls. Also very worth while buying if you own a Xbox 360 with Xbox 360 Wireless Gamepads and want to use these for gaming on a Pc. Product does what it says and delivers with no unwanted driver software costs,registration of product which is tedious(and the product registration for guarantee purpose should be separate and never hinder use of any device)as it should be,unlike with lesser hardware device manufacturers for Windows Pc's.

    When it comes to PC gaming, the mouse and keyboard are perceived as one of two things 1.) the only tool that works 2.) The best tool for gaming. However they are not the sharpest tools in the shed when it comes to specific genres of games which include racing, fighting and a far share of platformers. Bring in a stereotypical controller like the one for Xbox 360 and these games will work better.

    To get it to work, plug the adapter into a computer running Windows Xp or later (I happen to be using Windows 10), sync up a wireless controller by pressing the sync buttons and then start Steams Big Picture mode or a game with native/modded support for the Xbox 360 controller and now you can play on your PC as if it was a console, except you can get more that 1080p and 60FPS running on higher settings than a console can produce, plus I haven't even noticed any latency between pressing a button and the character on screen taking action. Tip: Also works well with gaming on the sofa.

    If you were thinking "Its cheaper to just get the play and charge kit so that a wireless controller works." That unfortunately won't work as you still need the adaptor for a 'wireless' controller. I have also found it is better than using the PS4 controller as with that controller, you have to work with some clunky drivers. This adaptor is what I consider the perfect plug and play solution, especially if you are new to PC gaming or want to do some local multiplayer on the same computer. If its not working just download some drivers from Microsoft's download centre and follow the instructions (Windows 8/8.1/10 users: get the Windows 7 drivers, run that in compatibility mode and go through the installer)

    When buying this product through Amazon, just carefully pick a seller and please understand the fact that this adaptor was available as a bundle with the Xbox 360 controller so it could fail to come with its original packaging as they have to separate it from the controller, even if advertised as new (it still is new through).

    Overall in satisfied that I only had to plug it in and let it do its job whilst I plugged an HDMI cable into the computer and the TV so I can play on my computer as if it was a console

    Hallo zusammen,

    ich benutze den XBox 360 Wireless Adapter mit Windows 7 64-Bit und einem handelsüblichen XBox 360 Wireless Controller. Ich habe den Adapter schon eine ganze Weile im Blick. Als er dann hier auf Amazon für knapp 15€ angeboten wurde, habe ich das Experiment mal gewagt. Mein angestrebter Verwendungszweck war, dass ich ihn natürlich bei Renn- und Sportspielen benutzen kann. Allerdings habe ich auch gehofft, dass man auch Spiele wie bspw. GTA IV entsprechend konfigurieren kann. Ich dachte da an eine Einstellung bzw. feste Tastenbelegung wie bspw. "wenn im Auto, dann Controller; wenn zu Fuß unterwegs, dann Maus+Tastatur". Ich war mir aber nicht sicher, ob man das so festlegen kann.

    Um ehrlich zu sein habe ich schon mit Kompatibilitätsproblemen gerechnet... Aber ich bin wirklich überrascht und beeindruckt wie einfach das alles funktioniert. Treiber installieren, Adapter am PC anschließen, Pairing Adapter<>Controller einstellen -> fertig!

    Es läuft ohne Probleme, der Verbindungsaufbau klappt zuverlässig in nicht einmal 4 Sekunden, kein Ruckeln, kein Verbindungsabbruch, alle Funktionen sind wie bei der XBox komplett da (analoge Sticks/Trigger/Vibrationen) -> Super!

    Und das Tollste für mich persönlich: Wenn ich bspw. GTA IV spiele und der Controller verbunden ist (Verbinden klappt jederzeit, auch noch wenn das Spiel schon läuft), sind alle Eingabegeräte gleichzeitig aktiv! Also Maus, Tastatur UND Controller. Ich kann also nach Herzenslust hin- und herwechseln, was besonders Fahrzeugpassagen unglaublich angenehm macht. Und das ohne irgendeine gesonderte Einstellung oder Tastenbelegung!!! Getestet habe ich dieses Verhalten bisher bei GTA IV und Sleeping Dogs. Klappt super! :)

    Fazit: Funktioniert reibungslos, eine echte Bereicherung für das Spielerlebnis und besonders für den Preis eine absolute Kaufempfehlung! 5*

    Después de tener una opción barata (imitación típica que puedes encontrar en internet o aquí mismo) por 7 euros y que
    1. Fallase en la distancia apenas a un metro
    2. Al tiempo ya dejase de funcionar de forma definitiva tras tanto fallo y cuelgue

    Opté por dejarme el dinero en la versión oficial y que decir, que pese a que venga embalado en una bolsa de plástico creyendo que no era el oficial por ese motivo (al parecer el motivo es porque ya el producto es más complicado encontrarlo y los que quedan están con ese embalaje pero son nuevos 100% y oficiales), en cuanto lo saque note la diferencia con la copia no funcional que tengo a mano, lo conecté y vaya, funcionando de 10 a la primera y aquí sigue tras días, funcionando a larga distancia, sin perder la conexión cada X minutos.

    Come da titolo...
    L'oggetto in questione costa qualche euro in più rispetto ad altri simili nell'aspetto e nelle intenzioni...ma allora dov'è la differenza?
    Quando si collega, l'oggetto in questione, al computer (testato win7 e 8.1 entrambi a 64bit) il sistema lo riconosce in un secondo, lo installa e si mette immediatamente alla ricerca delle periferiche della consolle.
    Basta premere un tasto sul controller ed il gioco è fatto.
    Si ottiene una connessione facile e veloce...ma sopra ogni cosa si ottiene una connessione stabile, un ottima precisione nei movimenti delle levette e del controller in generale, testato con molti giochi...ha sempre risposto alla perfezione.
    In conclusione, si può anche risparmiare qualche euro su oggetti del genere ma con il risultato di avere una installazione difficoltosa ed incerta ed una connessione al controller un po' "Traballante", con questo al contrario è tutto perfetto....proprio come dovrebbe essere.
    VE LO CONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE!

    Très bon produit, livré avec un CD d'installation ainsi qu'une notice. Le programme s'installe très facilement et reconnait après installation la manette XBOX 360. Je joue à +/- 4 mètres du récepteur et je n'ai jamais eu aucun problème de déconnection. L'adaptateur qui se branche à un port USB du pc à une longueur de +/- 1 mètre.
    Pour ceux qui ont Windows 8.1 comme moi, tout marche parfaitement. J'ai déjà testé Splinter Cell Blacklist, Assassin's creed IV Blackflag et Spec Ops The line. Il n'y a pas besoin de configurer la manette, tout est déjà configuré pour le jeu (C'est comme si on jouait à un jeu XBOX 360, j'en possède une, je vous confirme que c'est identique.
