And so on - there is a vast range of reference. Everything he touches is imbued with the same witty and kind-hearted modesty. I would say Fellini on Fellini is a classic to go on all film lovers' books shelves, along with those other indispensable memoirs by Bunuel, Kurosawa, and Bergman. Books such as these teach you more about the history and art of cinema than a library of worthy academic treatises.
