The packaging was horrible! The box was too big, the product was not enough protected... and both the box set and the books themselves are severely damaged.

Quite a shame, since the set is fairly good. Yes, they are paperback but of great quality. The font is not as small as I had expected, they have quaility paper (it is not transparent enough to see through it) and the covers are quite nice. The design is beautiful and they seem resistent enough for a paperpback, they just need to be treatred gently. The books include maps and an appendix of families, which is quite useful. What is more, the set includes a big map which I didnt expect, it was a nice surprise!

In short, the bookshet is worth buying but it's deliver was dreadful and now my beautiful books are ruined because of the awful packaging.

I knew I was going to get into these books eventually. I had avoided finding out anything at all about the tv series despite many attempts to twist my arm. I decided I would rather read the books first. Then took ages to get around to it. Yet here I am, 4 weeks after starting at the beginning proudly reviewing the whole volume of 5 books which I have spent every free minute (any delaying a lot of bedtimes) reading. It's going to be a long long wait for the next one, as it cannot come soon enough. Quite some journey!

Bought for my Mother for Christmas, the full collection of the Game of Thrones books, beautifully boxed with hours of reading pleasure. It also comes bundled with a Map of the Seven Kingdoms which is a nice touch.

A must have for any Game of Thrones fan!

Great set of books for a Game Of Thrones fan but they are smaller than I thought they would be and don't have hard covers. They are very similar to small bibles with the leather look soft covers, rounded corners and small print.
I would also have liked an option for express delivery.
