I've been a huge fan of Edge of Belgravia's knives for a couple of years now, and when I saw that they'd moved into other accessories I just had to purchase both of their chopping boards (large and small). When I opened the boxes I really was presented with two works of art. The quality of the teak is second to none, the finish is beautiful and the hexagonal shape was surprisingly effective. The edges are angled so you get a good cut over your food - this really does maximise space on my small worktop. After a couple of washes the boards are as good as new - I suspect they'll do me for years to come. Worth every penny. They also double up just as effectively as cheese boards or serving trays. Would absolutely recommend these, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Edge of Belgravia have up their sleeves next.
I bought this, along with the smaller size to replace my ageing chopping boards; as well as to accompany the wonderful Edge of Belgravia knives I bought earlier in the year which I am still absolutely loving using. The packaging as I've come to expect from EoB was beautiful, and the board is tremendously high quality. The stylish design means its uses are not limited to just chopping and dicing, but it makes a wonderful presentation piece too for everything from canapes to pizza. I'm absolutely delighted with my purchase.
This is a really good and sizable chopping board. I have a friend who uses it as a cheeseboard and for putting canapes on etc and it always looks excellent. Top tip: turn upside down for an even larger surface area.
