Immediately familiar as AIC, yet new at the same time.
On the second play of The One You Know, it becomes so familiar and subsequent plays feels like it is from the back catalogue - in a good way! In fact, much of the album is like this. Stand out tracks for me are Never Fade, So Far Under, Fly, Drone, Maybe and The One You Know.
I'm sure if you're a fan of modern AIC, you'll be able to appreciate this album. Is it better/worse than before? That's subjective and I can't answer that. For me, Dirt will forever be *the* AIC album but this ain't bad.
