I had this watch and I loved it but after wearing it in the pool a few times (not long) it has misted over and stopped working. I didn’t leave it submerged or use it for long in the water. I think that it has something to do with the extreme heat we are having in France but still. A bit disappointing
Very nice watch. Lovely simple design. Big easy to read numbers even in extreme bright sunlight ( fantastic for that ) or at night with illumination button. Right now I'm sitting in living room at night with no lights only a big TV on and can clearly read the time without using illumination button. No useless scuba divers calibrations around the bezel. ( Divers - buy an approved diving watch if you value your life ) , but waterproof and fine for shower or swimming pool etc.. All basic useful features included. i.e. 12/24 hr display functions, stopwatch, alarm clock. All this and so cheap that when the sexy plastic band fails in a few years, as they all do, - well, you can just throw it away and buy another whole new watch, or a new black leather strap.
For the money, you can't get a better watch for activity and sports that require a degree of water proof. I wear mine surfing and have no leaks. The lcd display had to be looked at straight on. The blue back-light is useful. Iits not going to win any design awards for it's looks! I bought one for myself, then one for a friend who never wore his "good" watch in case it came off in the surf. At a tenner, it won't break your bank to buy, or your heart if it does get lost or damaged.
Simple to set up once you have worked out the names for each button and the anti-clockwise lettering. The dial is so easy to read whilst running and the backlight helps at night and in bright sunny conditions. I only bought it for exercising and not for daily wear but it is so light I left it on in bed and woke up this morning not even realising it was still on my wrist. I wore it in the shower and it is still working! It's early days but so far so good.
Brought to use whilst I umpire netball. The face and strap is large and probably best for a man but it is a large clear display which is ideal when I need to easily see the time and quickly go to the stopwatch.
A good, low-priced watch. Super large and clear digits: hours are 10mm tall, minutes 7mm. Two niggles: 1) it's too easy to tap the lower left button and change mode (easy to change back, but it there's a moment of panic); 2) the strap prevents it from laying flat - I sometimes need to attach it to a clip board for timing sporting events, and it's a bit awkward for this. However, neither of these points is a 'killer' and I'm sure I'll get lots of use from it.
