Inaccurate temperature reading - avoid. It’s rubbish.

I cook a lot. I buy expensive cuts of meat and therefore a meat thermometer is critical. I noticed ribs of beef coming out cooked further than I like. I cook beef to 50 degrees and rest for 30 minutes to reach 55 degrees and quite rare. My meat was coming out medium to medium well. I tested in boiling water. 90 degrees. No wonder my meat was overcooking. A whole 10 degrees off which is more than enough to ruin a piece of meat. This thermometer is useless. I wasted money on high quality meat because of the poor quality of this. Please don’t waste your money on this thermometer, and even worse on good quality meat where you use it to judge cooking time.
