Superb follow up to "First Life". As with everything that Sir David does the standard was excellent.

Another superb two episode series from David Attenborough and the BBC about the rise of the earliest backboned animals and the mammals up to the present day.
Fascinating as always, this is another five star highly recommended purchase.

Attenborough describes key steps in the evolution of animal life on Earth. Brilliant organization and presentation of complex material uses spectacular photography and computer graphics to explain progression of distinguishing features and capabilities of animals from their most primitive forms to the current day. Educational, motivational, and uplifting for audiences of all ages.

How can you not absolutely love everything that Attenborough and the BBC'S natural history unit provide us. Another classic, incredible HD footage and brilliantly narrated. Worth adding to your collection.

Yet another excellent series from David Attenborough. Well written and plenty of content. As usual Attenborough has the knack of making potentially difficult subject matter comprehensible to the layman.

my 16 year old daughter and i enjoyed this dvd but i wouldn't re watch it like i have his others, its probably great for younger kids that have never seen how evolution with animals started.

This is a brilliant documentary, well up to Sir DA's usual standards, as the title says, it shows the evolution of animals from their earliest origins upwards
