Remember when Gin used to taste like Bitter Aloes or sucking on a bottle of Aftershave? Well now that has all changed...
I've been a fan of Penderyn Whiskey for some time and when I had the chance to taste this I was initially going to give it a wide berth but I'm glad I didn't. What a surprise...
An explosion of flavours flood the mouth without that normal bitter juniper berry taste. The aromatic excitement of the nasal passages brings forth even more dynamic notes of coriander & spicy cinnamon with a final swansong of nutmeg & citrus.
Drunk with traditional tonic or better still with lemonade & a generous amount of ice, this gin is equally at home with either for a refreshing summer drink but unlike other gins can be enjoyed on its own over ice.
The ingredients are displayed vertically on the bottle just in case you have trouble distinguishing every morsel of flavour. For those gin drinkers this is the new flavour...for those none gin drinkers, it's time you started...

This is a lovely gin. Very fresh tasting and certainly better than your average 'high street brands'.
Even though it's £5 dearer than equivalent Gordons, or equal, it's worth more than the £5 for difference in taste and quality.
You'll see what I'm on about when you try it.
I will be buying this again, for sure!

Was looking for some new and 'tasty' Gins for my wife to try (Christmas present) as she's had Bombay Sapphire, Bristol, London and lots of others 'off the shelf' but fancied trying some different and less well known ones from smaller distilleries - very pleased with this - great write up from other satisfied drinkers, and lots of notes highlighting the different ingredients from the makers.......
Such a great price too for a full 70cl bottle - recommended !!

Came across this in a specialist shop in Broadway and am so pleases to find it on Amazon (and cheaper). This smooth gin (drunk with good quality tonic water, ice and a slice of lime) is absolutely delicious. Smooth, without the (petrol) fumes that some big brands have. A delicate but also robust drink. Can't wait to try some cocktails with this

Unbelievable that a distillery in Wales can produce such a fine product. If you try it don't go down the route of buying a cheap tonic to go with it, a cheap bottle of tonic water can totally spoil a G&N and a slice !!

A lovely smooth gin that makes a great G&T.

Perhaps not as flavousome as other gins I usually go for which others may well prefer but for the price it's hard to beat and far exceeds the regular run of the mill gins.

Love it. I am becoming a bit of a gin snob and enjoy trying different gins. This one beats some of the other expensive gins I have tried. Don't ruin it with Gordon's, go for a Fever Tree tonic to keep the flavours.
