I'd prefer to keep my toddler drinking from a normal cup but it winds up on the floor and the free flowing cups are shaken until empty and the contents are all over him and forming a moat around him.
It's trickier than you think to use. It's a bit magic. These should be the instructions;
Open Screw off top Clean with water Fill with drinking water Screw back on top Try to drink from cup and fail Give to toddler who works it out first time while you gaze in awe at him gulping down water Take it back and try again Give back to toddler and watch carefully for technique. Try again success.
I won't give it away but it's something different to do on a week day morning. Plus it does the job and doesn't spill. You can stick the whole thing upside down in your bag it's that reliable.
My 15 month old niece loves this, she scoops up all her little bath toys in the net and not just the shapes that come with it. She's at the right age for this - she has a similar toy which is a fishing pole rather than net which is just a little bit too advanced for her at the moment. Would recommend.
Fishing set is as described, great colours, the pieces are light to catch in the net. This toy has not gone mouldy yet like some other squeezy bath toys. I like it and my grandson (18 months) has started to play with it, but it is not his favourite (yet)! It is a great idea as a toy and I'm sure given time he may start to catch other toys he has, in the net.
My kids love playing with this set - it's a bit different to all their other bath toys and opens a whole new world of games and stories for them. Sturdy and good quality and the colours haven't faded after several months of use.
The age advise says for older children, however as I could see no small parts I purchased this for 10 month daughter. Instant hit. So far my baby puts the sea creatures into the net but does not have the skills to scoop. She still loves playing with it, and I know that this toy will therefore grow with her as her skills develop. Highly recommended.
My niece needed some entertainment and toys for bathtime as just bubbles and water weren't cutting it anymore, so I have bought this set for her to play with. I can't see anything to dislike about it, and am sure she will find it fun.
