Good thing it's so cheap, and a good example of the survival genre, but full of little niggles for me. Spelling mistakes all over the place, a dry style of writing not to my taste, people dying left right and centre for no apparent reason; nor are the characters developed in such a way that you actually care when they get bonked on the head and die. I can't write a full review because I didn't make it all the way through. Boring after a while. Life's too short to waste on bad books. If you're looking for a great frosty themed apocalyptic story (and I've read loads and loads) you could try "The Deep Winter" series by Thomas Sherry. I thought they were great.
