Poor mans Thomas Merton or Richard Rohr

Firstly, it does not address the concept of love directly. It has not centralising theme - which is fine, but that not made clear. Secondly, it is rather light weight for a mystic and a little patronising in its simplicity - eg analogies of your Being as a computer that needs programming. In principle I am not against the western/eastern mix but with his over focus on dis-attachment I feel he misses the core message of Christ: receiving divine love and light. Overall its a poor mans Thomas Merton or Richard Rohr...
