I was looking for a new heart rate monitor strap for my two year old FR 305. The old one didn't work any longer - the receiver didn't show any reading, and replacing battery in the heart rate monitor strap did not help. The problem is that the price for these straps is insane. So I was very happy to see this strap, at only a handful of GBP. It did come up quite expensive after adding the delivery costs (I live oversees), but still much cheaper than the usual price for an HRM strap.
How very dismayed I was when the package have arrived, and I found out that what I received was not an HRM strap as advertised and shown in the picture, but only the elastic rubber half-strap that connects to the real thing and sits on your back. In retrospect, no wonder it was so cheap. But the product description and picture are definitely misleading, so much that I find it hard to believe that this fuzziness is completely non-intentional.
BTW, it turned out that my old HRM strap just got out of sync with my FR 305 - I re-paired the two, and my running is back on track (only with 30 GBP or so less in my wallet).
