Autobiographies come and go but 'Life on Air' by Sir David Attenborough, the greatest communicator the world has known is without doubt a must read. I buy this book as gifts for people that are passionate about the natural world and it never fails to raise a laugh and impress.

Probably the best autobiography I've ever read. Known as a presenter of natural history programmes but he's had such a varied life and career besides. Told with humour and humility, he tells the story of his career from the very earliest days on BBC TV to the modern day.

A superb book.

Informative, funny and totally charming. An account of 50 years of making natural history programmes at the BBC.
