A great accompanying text guide for anyone taking GSCE English. This is an update version of the guide that provides good coverage of the plot, characters, themes and context. My child uses this regularly and has found it very useful.

These revision guides helped my son go from a predicted 5 to actually getting a 3 in gcse English. They helped him no end. They broke Macbeth down in to sections to help him retain info and to help him understand how to include certain text in to his answers. Well worth the purchase

i need these books for gcse and honestly they are amazing for in-depth additional information. they consist of lots of different perceptions, techniques and analysis and overall are really good. however, when they arrived one had a minor splodge of dirt but it could be unnoticed and inst ver significant. overall, 10/10 would recommend and would buy again if a i needed it.

I love how short and simple the summary’s are they are so easy to understand also the context that comes under themes is so in depth and will help you to fill out the context part in your exam as well as telling the the turning points of each act for example Macbeth killing his first victim. Also the key characters are highlighted and have a page each to explain who they are and what they do etc.

This book is brilliant, I was doing Shakespeare for my GCSE English. Although you need to get the language this book helped me out by breaking down what Macbeth and other characters were saying.
I would recommend this book to anyone studying Macbeth, as this subject can be tricky.
